Title: PAO Operations Officer
Duty Location: Camp
Arifjan, Kuwait
Duty
Description:
Plans
and future operations officer for Third Army (FWD),
USARCENT and the Coalition Forces Land Component Command
in support of 20 countries to include Operations Iraqi
and Enduring Freedom. Primary analyst to the
Command Group for regional and international media news.
Briefs all significant breaking media news to the CG,
DCG and staff principals at the Command Operations
Information Center at the command updates. PAO
representative for all CFLCC planning groups.
Plans, coordinates and executes all professional
development seminars for subordinate PAOs in the Third
Army/USARCENT AOR. Primary advisor to the CFLCC
PAO and assists in the effective operations of command
and public information. Additional duty includes
development, coodination and execution of an OPSEC
program for the CFLCC PAO.

Description:
Serves
as Coalition Forces Land Component Command Public
Affairs NCOIC, Third Army/USARCENT (FWD) in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom; over sees public affairs
operations, training, and directly responsible for
leading three NCOs. Represents the Third Army
Public Affairs Sergeant Major forward. Property
book officer responsible for over $1 million in
equipment; responsible for coordinating, planning and
facilitating media representatives and events; provides
training and guidance for rotating eight-soldier Public
Affairs Detachment deployed in support of contingency
operations; and manages the section safety program.
